This painting gives the feeling of a serene atmosphere.I wanted to paint a landscape of this kind for a long time. Though I had some difficulties at first with the grassy area, the final outcome gives me immense satisfaction. I am trying my best to bring realism in my paintings. Hope you all enjoy this....

Its been more than a year since my last post . I hope to paint more frequently and keep the blog more active.

This is my first acrylic painting and I am satisfied with the results. I got inspired by artist Jerry Yarnell with his style of painting after watching his shows and reading his books.That was the reason for selecting this new medium . I started to enjoy this medium and would like to experiment more with it.

Strawberries n Bowls

Still life is one of my favourite subject to paint. This is the first time I'm painting strawberries. I've completed this painting in one day in a single sitting . Its done from the reference photo for the Rookie Painter challenge.

This is my first post for the year 2012. I enjoyed painting the tomatoes, the reflections & the bowl on the table though i found some problems with the leaves and background. This still life is done for the 26th challenge on The Paint and Draw Challenge . Hope you all enjoy it.
